I used old bay seasoning a little to salty but shrimp was cooked perfectly I did 2 pounds and 1/4 old bay will do 1/8 cup next time but good
I made this in a pan instead of a grill, used soy sauce instead of Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar instead of honey. Still savory and harmonious.
Very easy and tasty
TASTY!!! Made as is with the addition of red pepper flake. Skipped the microwave and used as a marinade for the time it took the coals to come to temp, about 30 mins, and basted with it during cooking as well. Really good! This amount worked well with nearly 2 pounds of large shrimp – seems like you should do more than just 6!
GREAT RECIPE!!!!!!!!!! I have had Kabobs many different ways and this has been the easiest and most flavorful way I’ve found yet. I didn’t want to just use shrimp for the recipe so I added vegetables and some extras in it ( red onion, red bell pepper, zucchini, yellow squash, kielbasa sausage cut into pieces, and bacon snaked on the skewer. My “Favorite seafood seasoning” was Old Bay which does somewhat wash as you are applying the basting sauce. Easy, Quick, and Packed with flavor. What more can you really ask for?
Simply awesome! I used Paul Prudhomme’s Magic Seasoning Blend for Seafood as the “favorite seafood seasoning”. The recipe is very easy to make and the flavors compliment the shrimp perfectly. The shrimp just melt in your mouth. The recipe was such a hit that my wonderful wife printed it out for her recipe book.
I LOVE THIS!!!! I have NEVER had shrimp like this, and I LOVE SHRIMP!!! I tried this for the first time, and it was a HIT!!! I saw my husband MELT, and that told me something REAL GOOD!!! I will be doing this again!!!!
Love that it was quick and easy. I’m not a professional griller, i leave that to the hubby, and he’s not home most evenings. I broiled on 425 (just a number I picked 🙂 and it worked just fine. I added yellow, orange and red bell peppers for color and they tasted great with basting sauce, too. I think I might have been a little heavy with the Old Bay cause it was a little spicy but that didn’t stop my herd. This recipe is definitely a keeper!!
I didn’t have any seasoning for sea food so I just used salt and pepper instead and in my opinion the shrimp came out really good. This recipe is a keeper will make again.
Recipe was really quick & easy, but I felt like it needed something extra. I rotated onions with the shrimp on the kabobs and it was delicious. The italian dressing mix really complimented the onions as well as the shrimp. Totally worth trying!
