Ingredients
- Flour, for dusting
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 7 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 1 cup (about 1 1/2 ounces) torn baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Kosher salt, for seasoning
Instructions
- Position an oven rack in the lower 1/3 of the oven and preheat to 425 degrees F.
- On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the pizza dough to a 12 to 14-inch diameter circle, about 1/4-inch thick. Sprinkle 1/2 of the mozzarella over the dough. Arrange the prosciutto over the cheese in a single layer. Sprinkle with the spinach. Top with the remaining cheese. Take 1 end of the circle and roll the dough up into a thin cylinder, gently folding in the ends. Brush the dough with the olive oil and season with the salt. Place the dough, seam side down, on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown. Allow the pizza to cool for 10 minutes. Using a serrated knife, cut the pizza into 3/4-inch pieces and serve.

I made two of these, using two cans of dough. With the first one, I didn’t read the directions and I cut it into slices before baking. With the second one, I baked it in its log form and cut it afterward, as stated in directions. I much preferred my “mistake” of pre-slicing it, because the result was evenly cooked. 25 minutes is WAY too long at 425. I took the second one out when the outside was brown but the inside was raw dough and unmelted cheese. I will make this again but I HIGHLY recommend slicing it beforehand, placing slices on a greased baking sheet, and cut baking time in half.
My entire family loved it! Made my own gluten-free dough. Paired it was a green salad and it made a great Sunday night meal.
So easy and so delicious. Love this as a basic recipe that you can build off of. So many different variations to try! This one was quite delicious, though a tad bit salty. I wanted a little something to cut through that salt, but otherwise, it was delicious.
A great take on pizza, made a nice change. Didnt have spinach so used broccoli, delicious!
Was a hit for the entire family!!!!
This was a great recipe and I substituted some ingredients and it ended up wonderful. I recommend it!
Wow! So good and so easy when you buy the pizza dough from the store.
I have tweaked this over the years making it with pepperoni, mozzarella, grated parm, fresh basil, jalapeños, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. It’s a weekly summer staple in our home!
This was delicious and was requested again for dinner, and I made it again for a holiday party (as an app). Homemade frozen dough made for a better tasting pizza roll than canned dough…
Yuck it is bland, salty and ended up on the trash
