This is a delicious sandwich! I love the dressing, using light sour cream with ketchup instead of mayo is a nice change. (and a healthier choice!)
My family all raved about this sandwich. Rather than using leftover pork, I just roasted a 1 pound pork tenderloin and it made enough for 6 large sandwiches. I love using pork tenderloin and am never disappointed with the result. The dressing is also a nice touch. I also served some guacamole with chips and my husband decided to use the guac on his sandwich rather than the dressing. That was also a hit! To bad more people haven’t taken advantage of this quick and easy dish!
I had leftover pork loin from Christmas and this recipe was perfect for that. It took literally 5 minutes and it was yummy!
Tried it with leftover chicken and it was amazing.
I think my husband looks forward to the pork sandwiches more than he does the roast dinner. The sauce (catsup & sour cream) is good and quick, but even faster is a little Heinz 57 sauce. Don’t use 57 sauce often but it’s great on pork roast. I’ve made all pieces of this dinner and all are nice and easy. Especially with the ziti this meal plan goes a long way, and there are 4 of us.
I happen to have some left over pork roast… so I put these sandwiches together for a Friday dinner… OH my goodness! Yummy, messy and just wonderful! My picky husband loved them too! Strongly recommend them to anyone with leftover pork to use.
