Greek Salad

  4.6 – 70 reviews  • Easy Side Dish Recipes
Guzaria is Greek tapas: many little dishes that can be snacked on for a fulfilling meal. Old Athens would gather at small bars at the end of a hard day to find community members, discuss the day, and share food and drink at a leisurely pace over the course of the evening. Ouzo and cold beer are the suggested beverages with your Guzaria menu. Guzaria Menu: Greek Salad, Grilled Pita Bread, Greek Meatballs in Wine Sauce, Baked Gigantes Beans and Grilled Shrimp.

Did not see lettuce listed in recipe?

This was delicious! Only used one red bell pepper and didn’t use Cuban pepper. Used regular cucumbers ( it’s what I had). I served it with Greek chicken but this salad was the star of the show!

Perfect as is. I halved the recipe to serve 2. I did edit to add romaine.

I just made this for dinner for the 2nd time this week (had the leftovers for lunch).  I only changed 2 things, I added some Romaine lettuce, not much though, and I skipped the parsley because I didn’t have any on hand.  It’s a really good ‘chunky’ salad for a change.

It was unique! We added some mozzarella, it gave it a freshening taste. We recommend using a less pepper, otherwise it was magnificent! You must try this recipe.

Perfection. I’ve also served it with Guacamole Dressing and, with fresh in-season tomatoes, it’s perfect.

Wonderful! Brought this to a party and it almost all went. I added greens and didn’t bring the pita bread. I will make it again!

So east and DELICIOUS. Got the wrong peppers so did not add them but the flavor was incredible for such basic ingredients. I could eat this everday

Great salad. I have a hard-to-pleaser and he said it was the best salad he’s ever had.
