Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Eight 1/2-inch bone-in pork chops (about 3 ounces each)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Begin by making the marinade. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, oil, vinegar, cumin and red pepper flakes. Easy, right?
- Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper and place in a re-sealable plastic bag with the marinade. Let rest on the counter for 1 hour. That’s easy.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the bag and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on the grill and cook until the pork chop releases from the grill, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for another 3 minutes. If using a grill pan, be sure to do in batches so you don’t steam the chops. And don’t worry if you have neither; you can do this in a pan. See, easy!

Another Winner!
This is a no for us. I didn’t like the sweet taste on my pork chops. Savory is the way to go.
fantastic recipe! the chops i get are boneless and a bit thicker so i extend the cooking time a bit and marinade either all day or overnight. i also skip the red pepper flakes because while my wife and i love them, our 4 yr old does not. she devours her chop though. as a parent, it’s lovely to see. thank you!!
Was so easy and loved by all who ate the chops!! My go too!!
Delicious!!!
My family is notorious for not eating leftovers. However, when they realized there were none, they went out and bought some more pork chops and begged me to make it again. Hahaha!
Just finished eating dinner, pork chops, Busch beans, apple sauce and fried summer squash. I might have over eaten because they were so good! This pork chop recipe is so easy and my husband loved it too! I have never cooked with cumin before (and yes I had everything except for the cumin, just like she said in the video, lol) so I was a little nervous. I cooked them on a cast iron griddle on the stove, which gave me those beautiful grill marks. My hubby agreed that this recipe will go in our dinner rotation. Thank you for such a delicious, easy recipe. I do like easy.
FABULOUS! Was skeptical because of short cooking time – but these chops were the best! So easy and flavorful and moist.
Love this, simplicity and flavor at it’s best!
Family favorite, easy to make, what else do you need? Fantastic recipe. Thank you Sunny!
