Average rub. Creates a good crust. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t extraordinary.

Easy and tasty. I cut the salt to 1 1/2 tablespoons for our taste.

Made the best brisket I ever tasted. It didn’t even need bbq sauce! The rub was so easy to make. I will definitely be using this recipe again. Used coarse sea salt as I didn’t have any Kosher salt.

I used Trisha’s slow cooker beef brisket recipe however I used this rub before searing and the end result was fantastic!!!

Excellent and simple staple rub.

The brisket is inedible. The salt content is over the roof! It is also soaked in grease! All I can taste is SALT and grease! I am simmering it in a large pot of water with cut up potatoes all day in hopes to get the salt and grease out. Here’s hoping! I don’t think I.ll trust you guys again! This was a waste of brisket.

Excellent brisket! I applied the rub and let it sit overnight. I cooked the brisket in a Dutch oven at 250 degrees F. for 6 hrs. The aroma while it was cooking was amazing and after six hours it was fork tender and so flavorful it did not need anything else. You cannot go wrong with this rub it’s very easy and it’s made with ingredients you probably already have on hand.

Easy and Fantastic! Used this recipe today for smoking brisket and it was fantastic. Utterly tasty but not overpowering, just like the local BBQ place uses. I was delighted with this rub and will use next time – hard to beat.
