My family absolutely loves this ham.  Since making this glaze and ham several years ago, I haven’t cooked my ham any other way.  Super easy, super delicious!!! When I first started making it, I only used half the glaze for a smaller ham, but we just love the mango & orange flavour.  Now I use the whole glaze recipe every time.

This ham is too sweet for our tastes. We used a spiral cut smoked ham and felt that the sweet orange flavor was too powerful – would have preferred more of a savory balance to it. Also, the ham we used was already fully cooked and we baked it for the time listed in the recipe and at the temperature listed and the ham was nowhere near hot when the time was up. We ended up having to cut slices off and microwave them so that the ham would be hot enough to be served at the same time as the other dishes were ready. I have no idea why it did not bake appropriately at the time and temperature listed.

This is one of the worst recipes I’ve ever tried and I’ve been cooking and baking for many years. I LOVE Ina Garden and her recipes but this one is a fail. It smelled and tasted terrible, the glaze was so strong it permeated the entire ham. I bought an expensive ham and had to throw it away.

Not a review but a question:  I’m fixing a fully-cooked,  spiral cut, smoked, bone-in ham that weighs 10.79 lbs. – since it’s considerably smaller, how long should I bake it without fear of drying it out?

I rarely do not like an Ina recipe. There was way too much orange for my taste. I love chutney and what confounds me is that I am sure I made this before and loved it. Perhaps glazed a smoked ham as opposed to a honey ham? Way too much orange.

This ham is super easy and a winner! Buy Kirkland brand ham from Costco and the mango chutney from Trader Joe’s.

This ham is delicious and will make it again and again. I also pour the glaze between the slices which enhances it. Absolutely wonderful for a party or get-together. I love all of Ina’s recipes and think she is a wonderful chef. I have 2 of her cookbooks and love them!

Wonderful!! I’ve used this recipe a couple of times now & it always meets with rave reviews. Its so easy and flavorful. The major grey chutney & the orange zest bring the whole thing together. I applied only half the glaze initially and then slathered on the balance half way thru the cooking time. My dear husband, who is not generally a ham eater, went on & on about how good the glaze was!! a definite keeper!

We had this for Easter dinner and got raves. It is super easy and by far the tastiest ham I’ve ever had. The glaze is sweet, but the garlic and mustard give it so much depth. Perfect recipe.
