Very good the only thing I do differently is to wrap the apples in puff pastry.

Both family and friends love this dessert–a winter favorite.  And easy to make!

I love this and I don’t want to sound too judgmental, but a la mode does not mean served “with ice cream”, it means served “in style”. Again, don’t want to be the bad guy but putting “à la mode” in your description doesn’t tell me that it’s served with ice cream.

My family liked this recipe. Good flavors! I served with it with vanilla ice cream. Can’t wait to try it again with Dulce de Leche ice cream.

This recipe is simply wonderful. The first time I ever made it, my friends complemented me the entire weekend of our trip. I have made them several times after and its always great. I never top with caramel, becasue its sweet enough. And I sometimes pair with with butter becan icecream

I love this recipe! The dulce de leche ice cream really adds a great touch to these apples and really helps round out the taste of fall. I’ve tried doing this in a toaster over because living alone I hate to heat up the oven. Be careful when doing this because you are almost guaranteed to over toast the nuts and the apple won’t quite cook all the way through. I’m working on figuring out how to make it work and will revise this review when I do. 😮

This is a new favorite in our house!!!!!!!

I made these for the first time last Thanksgiving and they were a hit! Instead of apples, I used pears and omitted the ice cream to serve as a side dish. Definitely gonna be making these again this holiday season!

these were easy and fast to make. my 7 year old even helped me. i only made 3 and im glad because i wouldnt have had enough stuffing for a fourth one. i let them bake an extra 10 minutes but they still werent quite as soft on the inside as i woulve liked. but they still were delicious & everyone loved them. next time i will just cook them a little longer.
