Ingredients

  1. 2 store-bought pizza doughs
  2. 1/2 cup bench flour
  3. 1/4 cup cornmeal
  4. 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  5. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  6. 1 sleeve graham crackers, crushed
  7. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  10. 3 cups mini marshmallows
  11. 2 bars dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Sprinkle flour on a work surface and roll out each piece of dough into a 12 to 14-inch round, 1/4-inch thick. Dust a pizza peel with cornmeal and slide onto the pizza stone. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until just beginning to brown.
  3. While pizza crust is baking, toast almonds in a saute pan over medium-high heat. Remove almonds to a plate, and in the same pan, melt the butter. When butter is melted, add the graham cracker crumbs, chili powder, cayenne and salt. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Remove pizza from oven and top with half of the marshmallows, randomly place 1 bar of chocolate over marshmallows and return to the oven, 3 to 5 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and lightly browned. Remove pizza from oven, sprinkle with half of the graham cracker mixture and top with half of the toasted slivered almonds. Repeat for the second pizza. Let the pizzas rest for 3 to 4 minutes, then slice and serve.

I only had cinnamon grahams so I used those, and used chocolate chips in place of chocolate bars. I cut down on the cayenne by about half so it wasn’t too spicy for the kids. We enjoyed the chili powder and cayenne but my kids are not too squeamish about spiciness. Definitely something I would make again!

Great! My son and I watched Guy make this morning and had to try this evening. We took the suggestion of the first review and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on crust, omitted the cayene pepper and chilli powder and used milk chocolate instead of dark and the kids loved it! I was also surprised as I didn’t think I would like, but ended up sneaking a piece for myself :

YUM! This was a huge hit. I added cinnamon and toffee bits to the dough and baked it. Then I made chocolate ganache (orange zest and triple sec would have been great but the kids wouldn’t go for it] spread it on top of the cooled dough sprinkled the toasted almonds (was okay but next time would not use] then sprinkled more toffee bits, then sprinkled with the graham cracker butter mixture (I added a bit of honey to the mix], then probably only used half the mini marshmallows over top. Put under the broiler (convection] for five minutes until golden brown. It was devoured. An addition to our family faves 😛 [did not use the chili or cayenne]

So i didnt have ALL the ingredients. I substituted Fiber one Bran cereal, a pinch of Brown sugar & cinnimon for the graham crackers. Chocolate chips instead of chocolate bar and I can’t believe its not butter liquid spray for the butter. And omitted the Chili powder & Cayanne, we have young kids. And still turned out FABULOUS!!!Thanks

My family thoroughly enjoyed this pizza – the only alteration I will make next time is removing the Chili and Cayenne pepper as my children were a little fussy on that taste.
