seemed like this was not going to be impressive for a dinner party but when given a choice between this and another this got the most requests. then when everyone was eating these the compliments were high. one said this was the best dessert he ever had in his life! this was so delicious, i don’t think there is any way to improve on this!

Who would have thought such simple ingredients on the grill could taste so good? Made them for a bbq that I had the other night and people went bonkers! I didn’t have time to roast the hazelnuts so I improvised….I did a total of 10 bananas….6 of them were with nutella and the marshmallows and for the other 4 i used skippy chunky peanut butter and marshmallows…awesome! Most people liked the nutella but the peanut butter wasn’t that bad either! then yesterday I had a banana and I combined both! Nutella peanut butter and marshmallow – devine!!!

We have made these on our grill for years, every since my sister learned to make them at Girl Scout camp back in the 60’s. It’s our go-to summer treat after cooking on the grill or camping.

If you don’t have Nutella on hand, use chocolate chips. They always melt beautifully.

Definitely taking this one on my camping trip coming up soon! I didn’t use any nuts. Just the nutella and marshmellows and boy is that good!!!! Yum…

You can substitute the chocolate hazelnut spread and mashmallows with Dulce de Leche (Cajeta in Spanish, which you can find in the Mexican aisle in any supermarket).
Also, you can use ripe plantains instead of bananas.
