Reviews
I used a very light brush of grapeseed oil to ensure pineapple did not stick to grill. Grapeseed oil is flavorless and can handle high heat. I did not want olive oil flavor on the pineapple. As other reviewers commented, did not leave on grill as long to further ensure no black char on the fruit. Grilled it long enough to bring out the natural sweetness. Honey was not needed. Grilling fruit does enhance the sweetness but to the point of charring fruit – well that doesn’t excite me. Just because Ina does it, doesn’t mean its better.
I wasn’t really big on this one, but my husband loved it! I don’t char it as long because I’m not a fan of the burned parts, so just browning it is good. Not a bad recipe if you love pineapple.
I don’t char it as long, I don’t like the real dark grill, just a little browned is good for me
Sooooooooooo good! Perfect for the fourth of july!! Made it tonight and making it again tomorrow!!!!!!! Absolutely delicious!!!!
