Ingredients
- 4 ripe medium peaches
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 to 2 pints frozen vanilla yogurt
- Suggested toppings: toasted sliced almonds
Instructions
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit. Slice each half in half and toss them in a bowl with the vanilla extract, almond extract, and brown sugar. Set aside for 15 minutes while you preheat a grill with a medium-high heat. Grill skin side down until skin is slightly charred, about 3 minutes. Turn and grill on the other 2 sides until you get nice grill marks, about 1 minute on each side.
- Divide the peaches among 4 bowls and serve with the frozen yogurt and toasted almonds, if desired.

The recipe above does not have the homemade granola and basil like shown in the photo. I had the original recipe saved in the app but can no longer access it. Can this be updated to the original?
Super easy and delicious! I drizzle balsamic vinegar over the peaches and ice cream for an extra bonus taste extravaganza!
Used less ripe peaches as suggested on another show, to hold up to grilling. They took a very long time to cook, almost 20 minutes, the flavor did not seem enhanced over raw peaches.
I tried this recipe and we were little disappointed with it. Did not have much of a taste.
Everyone loved this one. Next time I think I will add a little cinnamon just for fun
elegant but fun.. different twist on an old bbq?
I didnt have a grill or almond extract, but with a little nutmeg and a hot frying pan, this turned out heavenly. I also fried the peaches on their flesh side first, so they got nie and crispy/chewy on their face. the skin side didnt really change much, its still skin! With a dollop of pecan ice cream – I think I am in love!
this was simple, but a little too sweet for my taste. next time ill make some alterations.
This is so simple yet sooooo good with not only peaches but grilled pineapple. It has a light flavor that compliments the fruit and i could see this for most fruits that can be grilled. Don’t be afraid to give it a try. You won’t be sorry!
and delicious! Very yummy.
