I used cranberry juice for this recipe and it came out horrible, it had very little taste and what taste was there was bad, I wouldn’t reccommend using cranberry juice.
healthy and refreshing recipe.
Okay, I have to agree with a few of the others–I think adding sugar would make a world of difference. However, that being said the one thing that bugs me about Ina is she only keeps her recipes on for a short time and then she wants us to go out and purchase her books. Paula’s are always available.
The idea was very simple and was a joy to create with my kids. We used different kinds of juices to create a variety.
This recipe is also on the back of the gelatin box and it suggests to add sugar. Ina didn’t and I tried it her way and it’s tasteless. Add sugar.
These turned out nicely and was fun for kids at the birthday party we held. I would recommend though using a sweeter juice than apple, which is what I used because they turned out rather bland.
It is so good
