Reviews
My family and myself enjoyed this very much! Always watching for what’s next in food adventures.
This is SO good, and so easy to make! I did let the bread soak in the mixture for about 2 hours before baking, (I also let it sit out for about 30 minutes before baking since I used a glass dish) plus I added a handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and it was delicious! Husband RAVED about it!!
Delicious! I added semi sweet chocolate chips. Yum
I watched the episode and it looked like she added about 1 cup of chocolate chunks but I don’t see that listed on the ingredients. Did anyone add those or just make it without?
This recipe was delicious! I’d make it again for a dessert or brunch!
Everyone loves bread pudding….Don’t we esp when its made from Croissant bread.
I tried this recipe after searching for something to do with chocolate croissants, and I’m glad I came across it! It turned out delicious, and perfect. My whole family enjoyed it!
I read many other bread pudding recipies before I just printed this small one out. I already had a loaf of Wegman’s chocolate chuck bread and thought I really had most of the flavor in the bread already so why add so much to it. I was right on. I added a little bit of coffee liquor, but other than that not anything else. It came together in a flash and cooked exactly 40 min. in a 8″ oval. Then I put some cherry fruit preserves on top and some marinated in bourbon cherries around the top – just to make it look like it was alot of work!! No water bath was used either. Will use this recipe again.
boy was this good. I made for a party and everyone liked it. Many seconds were had.
