Reviews
My plums were too sour, so the end result was like plum-flavored sour-patch kids! Bleah. Would have been tolerable with vanilla ice cream but I was trying to keep it a LITTLE lighter. Will try again but will certainly make sure the plums are VERY sweet before bothering to grill them. Quick & easy, so worth another go with better produce. 🙂
Yum, and good w/ vanilla ice cream too. Easy too!
My grill was out of propane, so I cooked these under the broiler ( flesh side up ), really really yummy.
I never thought of plums as dessert before, but they tasted just like apple pie filling with the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. I live in a apartment with no grill, so I just plopped them in a skillet for a few minutes instead. Delicious!
I’ve never grilled fruit before and just loved trying something new. It turned out great and it was so pretty with the grill marks. I thought the flavors worked nicely together.
