Reviews
I haven’t tried this yet and I never write a review unless I have but I’m making an exception this time. The recipe sounds great, very simple and sounds great as an alternative or addition to cranberry sauce. Why not just add some fresh citrus juice (lemon, orange or lime), to cut down on the sweetness and make proportion adjustments accordingly? I’ll play around with it this weekend and let y’all know if it works.
I made this for my (now) husband when we first started dating and I’m pretty sure he married me because of this recipe! Very easy to make and a nice change from just smothering everything in gravy. Goes well with all white meats and is now a tradition in our home every Thanksgiving.
I made this sauce for this last Thanksgiving and I thought it was awesome. It was very easy to make & I thought it tasted great on the turkey. It is very sweet so if you’re not a fan of sweet, like my husband, than this may not be the sauce for you.
it has only one taste – sweet.
