Super easy to make and delicious is N understatement! Love this recipe
What a hit! Great flavor and hearty. The smell is amazing as it bakes. I used half flax and half wheat germ as a quarter cup of flax was a bit much in the first batch.
I subbed the sweeteners and oil for apple sauce! Just needs to cook a little bit longer to crisp up.
a Little too loose, dry, and not sweet enough for me. Not a recipe I’d make again. The ginger was too much as well in my opinion.
I really enjoyed this–didn’t use ginger and added 1/2 tsp almond extract. Only cooked for 25 minutes. Sometimes I add coconut before I bake it or dried fruit afterwards
I love granola and usually make Alton Brown’s version, but thought I’d try something different and went with this one. I followed the recipe as written and am really disappointed. The flavor falls very flat and the sweetness is pretty much non-existent. I don’t know if it’s the combination of ginger and cinnamon, but it almost tastes like soap to me..I hate to waste food and am working my way through this batch, but I think I may throw it out any way.
This is the best granola for yogurt and fruit parfait!
I substituted the maple syrup for more honey and it was still delicious. So clever to add crisped cereal. I also didn’t add the wheat germ and it turned out fine.
This was SUPER yummy! So easy (and my oven baked it in 15 minutes, and I stirred it 4 times during that.)
It’s delicious! I am following a migraine diet, and the only thing I can’t have in this recipe is the nuts. I just use a heaping cup of the puffed rice and omit the nuts, and it works great. I like bold flavors so unlike a lot of reviewers I go a little heavy on the cinnamon and ginger.
