Tasty… I added cinnamon as well and it turned out great.

I didn’t care for this recipe AT ALL.  I had a funny taste, maybe because of the almond extract.  We won’t be making it again.

It was really good. I followed it mostly, except I added ground cinnamon. My whole life, my mother used cinnamon, so I added. The amount you add, though, depends on your personal taste. Anywhere between 1/2 teaspoon and 2 teaspoons would probably be good. I also served it with powdered sugar and some butter on top. It perfectly complemented the batter. I highly suggest this recipe.

I really enjoyed this batter. In order to get the full effect,do as the recipe says and use a good bread. I made one slight change and added 1/2 to 3/4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice. If you use this adjust to your taste.
