Simple recipe. Paired with onion jam and course sea salt. Tasted just like $30 appetizer at fancy restaurant

Simple and delicious! Try the marrow on EVOO toasted ciabatta and a glass of nice Pinot Noir.

not enough info here on anything, like prep, cook time variants and how to season, seems the bare minimum.

I don’t know why someone would give this review just one star. Boiling eggs is the only thing easier, and this dish is delicious and so good for you.

Super easy and soooooo good.  I sprinkled celery salt and ground black pepper on top before roasting.    Smelled incredible, like I was roasting a prime rib roast.  The taste is superb.  Spread on a piece of seeded rye toast!  Brought back childhood memories.   MAKE IT!

OMG – amazing – 15 minutes was fine at 450 degrees – had English muffins lightly toasted topped with a little sea salt mmmm.  Just like butter but better. Was making beef soup so I had some still in the bone and put the rest and the bone in the soup.

I love marrow on toast!  Reminds me of my Grandma :~D
I also use it in my beef soups for flavour and slight thickening.
I’m aging myself, but I can remember going to the butcher, and he would give you a big bag for nothing.

Easy to make! I tossed my bones, marrow side up, in an 8”x12” pan so I didn’t have to worry about fat leaking out all over my oven. 15 mins was great. Followed another reviewer’s advice and sauteed shallots in butter, then added that, fresh parsley, s&p and a little lemon on top of the bone marrow which I spread on toasted french bread, and it was great!! The lemon really cut thru the richness of the marrow in a way that I enjoyed.

My grandfather, from Naples, Italy, LOVED bone marrow.  He lived to 92.
