This is THE only tartare recipe I make. Absolutely divine
To Kathy O. This is not a ceviche it’s a tartare. Ceviche has cilantro. Get it straight!! Delicious
Great base. Followed the recipe exactly which is unusual.
Felt it needed a bit more fresh dill and lime. Added the zest of a lime to punch it up.
Served with some hot sauce on the side for some kick if you wanted
A keeper indeed!!

This is a fabulous appetizer! I don’t like raw onions so I leave them out. If you add a chopped avocado it will neutralize the saltiness. I think it could even stand a bit a chopped mango as well. Prepare it a day in advance.
Made this Christmas Day but realized my mustard had expired. Only store open only had spicy mustard. It worked HUGE hit. I even liked it and I don’t usually like salmon. Thanks Ina
Can anyone suggest a different herb that would be good with this? Not a dill fan.. Thanks
This is a great appetizer. I made it the day before serving and it was delicious. I served it with fried won ton chips.
Excellent! I made it the day before I needed it and it was perfect!
Wonderful appetizer or side dish. I was just curious how long this keeps after preparing.
Raves from dinner guests … followed recipe exactly. Loved the combo of smoked and fresh salmon. Delicious
