I made these foe my family yesterday, with a couple of variations. I caramelized the onions and peppers seperately and then mixed them together and put both inside the egg roll wraps along with a sprig of cilantro and it was out of this world. The peppers and onions gave it a sweetness that was awesome. The cilantro added a bit more flavor that was really great. I added a sliver of jalapeno pepper in the ones I ate because I love spicy food, but not for everyone. That was a super addition doe me. Thanks Robin!!

We made these using the leftover bourbon steak from this episode like she did in the show and they were SUPER yummy. A very big hit with the family. The only request was for more peppers, so next time we will make more peppers and put them inside the eggrolls. I think you can use whatever cheese you like, but don’t skip the onions!

I made these and I can honestly tell you I am not a fan. No one liked them and they made me nauseous after eating them.

when i baked them for the 15 min. they were rock hard…..cheese was gone, they were not browned at all. I sprayed them well.

This is such a great recipe & great for super bowl sunday or the world series playoffs! It did take me 30 minutes to prepare, not the fifteen. I used eggroll wrappers which was all I could find @ the store & they were 6 inches square. I put three of the slices of rib eye in each w/some onion and cheddar cheese as I do not like provolone cheese. It takes over any recipe as far as I’m concerned. Baked @ 400 for 15 – 20 minutes & they were golden brown. So delish! The recipe made 18 rolls for me though, not just the 8. My husband loves them too and added dijon mustard to dip them in & loved that. I didn’t bother w/the pepper rings.

Thanks Robin!!!

My family loved them and couldn’t get over how good they were. I placed a mozzarella stick in the wrapper with the meat and onions-ohhh so cheesy!!! I will be making these again!

These were super good. I used egg roll wrappers instead. I also put the ranch on the onions too and actually folded the pepper/onion mix into the rolls with the steak. SOoooo goood.

When u make the steak make sure u season it, otherwise it has no taste. I seasoned it with sason and adobo. They were very good the second time when i seasoned them. I also used extra cheese!

All the goodness of steak and cheese without all that extra bread! I didn’t make the pepper ranch rings, as my husband doesn’t like ranch, so I sauteed some peppers and added them to the egg rolls. Yummy.
