This stuff is amazing! However, I find it even better with some seasoned cream cheese smeared on the bacon before you wrap the artichoke hearts, and have sweet chili sauce for dipping…. Some ‘food’ for thought
Great, but I don’t care for rubbery bacon, so I doubled the time.
It needs something. I’ll let you know when I find it.
These are so simple and good!!
I made these as and Easter app for family – SOOOO good and so easy. I cut the bacon into thirds and that was perfect. At the end I finished them under the broiler ‘cuz they were taking too long to cook the bacon. Half hearts would be a little more hearty and worth a try next time.
Best, yummiest, quickest appetizer I have ever made. Brilliant! I cook mine for about 25 minutes to get the bacon really crisp: Love it!
These are wonderful! My daughter has recently taken an interest in cooking and since she is still young she we have been looking for simple recipes that she can make on her own. These fit the bill and were so good I definitely will be keeping the recipe for when I entertain as well!!!
Always looking for something fast to nibble on and ways to get the kids to try and like new foods. This fits the bill. My kids love this just as much as adults and consider it a treat. Great simple recipe!
Have made these multiple times & always get rave reviews. I’m always asked for the recipe. They are so easy & taste sooooo yummy!
i used reese canned artichokes (drained), cut them in half, took uncured bacon, cooked in microwave for one minute, cut the bacon in half, according to size of artichoke, wrapped and topped with a cubanelle pepper slice, then onto broiler pan for 15-20 minutes……came out excellent!
