I usually just wing it when making deviled eggs but decided to look for a recipe for Thanksgiving. These were by far the best I’ve made or had! Everyone loved them. I used Dijon mustard and dill pickle relish.

Made these today. I have a stand-by recipe that everyone loves. BUT…this is better. I wish the recipe would have specified what kind of relish. I used dill. May seem simple but don’t put bacon on until you are going to serve.

I still think my simple stand-by is great… almost the exact same with a few minor changes and no bacon. So I will keep both and maybe do a bit of each.

This is definitely a keeper recipe. I can still take some more punch and may try Dijon mustard next time instead of spicy stone ground or perhaps add some Cajun seasoning as another reviewer suggested. I used smoked paprika in place of regular paprika. I used sweet salad cubes (minced), but maybe I should’ve used dill pickle relish… or…. some Wickles Pickles ( a wickedly delicious pickle brand with some minor heat). Oh the possibilities.

This are good!   I substituted Dijon mustard since I didn’t have spicy, but then I added in a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning to add the spice back.  Good combo of flavors!

Perfect! I really enjoyed the burst of all kinds of different flavors when I bit into it. The bacon was one of the best parts, and i also enjoyed the relish. Do not forget the relish! If you do forget the relish, it will taste rather bland and the flavors would not burst in your mouth. The chives were great! Put some salt and pepper into the mixture. Then they will be more flavorful!

These were AMAZING! I made mine with finely chopped dill pickle slices and a splash of pickle juice. The end result was a hit! The family devoured them in minutes…so make extras!
