Very delicious! I make it vegetarian by using vegetable stock instead of chicken.
Thank you! Great, simple and delicious! Substituted collard greens, as there’s no way kale or escarole will pass my love’s lips. His Italian ancestry is smiling down on him – finally eating beans and greens
Outstanding! I usually order this dish at a local Italian restaurant and I crave it. This recipe was even better! I doubled it in my large dutch oven and added a packed of Trader Joe’s Spicy Italian Chicken Sausage sliced thin for the last ten minutes. The only problem was that I couldn’t stop eating it!
Such a delicious recipe! I swap the kale for collard greens. I still love it!!
This is my go-to dinner when I get kale in my CSA. It’s easy, delicious and easy to adapt. My husband does like Parmesan on top.

This is my new favorite thing to make! I loathe kale, but I crave this dish almost every night. Followed the recipe exactly and it is delicious. I have made it 5 times in two weeks. I serve it with salmon and sometimes I sauté ground turkey first and set aside, then add back in for a full and easy meal! Super satisfying, I highly recommend.
In search of recipes to help me and the fam eat more greens decided to try this recipe. I added an additional garlic and use 2 bunches of kale which I sautéed till tender. I liked the taste but felt the beans and kale needed something to bring it together. So I added a tablespoon of butter and voila! Perfection. I did add the red pepper and it was a little spicy. I think I might add paprika next time instead of the red pepper to see how it turns out.
This is my favorite easy recipe.
Excellent – all of their recipes have been amazing!
