Ingredients
- 2 medium thin-skinned limes
- 2 cups ice cold water
- 1 cup tequila
- ½ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau)
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 cups ice, or as needed
- 6 slices lime

This is FANTASTIC! I did add an extra 1/2 lime cuz the ones I had seems small and did 4 oz of Grand Marnier vice the guidance provided and also added 4 oz of beer cuz the best Marg I ever had added beer and I will forever do it. This margarita is perfection and I’ll never buy mix again!!

I had such high hopes for this but it was way to bitter. I followed the recipe exactly and determined it could not be improved as long as the lime rind was part of it.
