This cinnamon bread is prepared with bread machine dough, which is then filled, shaped, and baked. Probably my best creation is this loaf of bread. Just as I was about to finish baking it, half of one loaf vanished before it had time to cool!

Ingredients

  1. 2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers gin (such as Aviation® or Hendrick’s®)
  2. 2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)
  3. 2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers elderflower liqueur (such as St. Germain®)
  4. 2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers lemon juice
  5. crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Combine gin, orange-flavored liqueur, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice with some crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
  2. Strain into 2 glasses.

Came to Allrecipes looking for something different to make and this sounded tasty. Luckily, I had all the ingredients. While we have Aviator gin, we don’t care for it so used our favorite St. Augustine brand. Reminded me of a stronger lemon drop.

Was looking for a refreshing cocktail for a hot summer day. As written it was a bit too lemony for me, but I did use fresh squeezed lemons so maybe they were too tart. I added a splash of water and it was just right. I would a imagine club soda would work too…something to try next time.
