Take a classic strawberry smoothie and give it some front and back flavor for a little additional kick. Instead of coconut milk, use coconut water.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 (17.5 ounce) can coconut water
- 2 cups ice
- 2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers rum, or more to taste
- 1 tablespoon white sugar, or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Blend strawberries, coconut water, ice, rum, sugar, and vanilla extract together in a blender until frozen and slushy.
- Depending on the size of the strawberries and amount of ice you add, you may need to add water to allow for smoother blending.

Refreshing! I used frozen strawberries, so didn’t add hardly any ice, but did need to add a bit of water to get it to blend in my Vitamix. Needs more rum though – which is easy to fix! 🙂
