Very good starter recipe! I made this as written and enjoyed it. Now I make this with lots of other frozen or fresh fruits and veggies I have on hand. I also add 3T hemp seeds and aloe vera juice and whatever else that suits my fancy. LOL If you’re new to smoothies and looking for something easy to make and tasty, you won’t be disappointed with this one.

Delicious and very healthy! I used a banana, blueberries and mango, all frozen. Added a little ground flax seed, scoop of vanilla protein powder. Along with Greek plain yogurt, added orange juice and a non-dairy creamer. Endless possibilities for a make-it-your-own smoothie!

I will definitely make this again! It’s a great start to your morning! 🙂 A bit less yogurt would be nice though.

This is a great base for smoothies. Also, if you use vanilla yogurt (which makes the flavors “pop”) omit the honey. Thank you LKB for sharing!!

3.1.19 Today I used fresh pineapple, pineapple juice, and Cabot® Greek Low Fat Vanilla Bean Yogurt (what I had on hand) for this smoothie. I did add some of the optional ice because we like our smoothies with a thicker consistency. This really is an excellent base for making a variety of fruit smoothies, and this combo this morning was delicious! A repeat for sure.
