Skinny Dark Chocolate Mocha

The mocha for you if you enjoy dark chocolate is this one. It’s also “skinny”!

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  2. 2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
  3. 2 (1 gram) packets stevia sweetener (such as Truvia®)
  4. ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 cup strong brewed coffee

Instructions

  1. Combine almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla extract in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Froth cocoa-milk mixture using an immersion blender.
  2. Pour hot chocolate milk into a mug, holding back the foam with the back of a spoon. Add coffee and top with foam.
  3. Use fat-free whipped cream as a topping if desired.
