Rose Hip Iced Tea

A cozy casserole dish is chicken pot pie with puff pastry. Outstanding usage for leftover rotisserie or roasted chicken. Furthermore, it freezes well.

Ingredients

  1. 4 cups water
  2. 4 tablespoons dried rosehips
  3. 1 tablespoon sugar, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add rosehips to boiling water, cover, reduce heat, and simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until dissolved. Leave covered to steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain tea through a fine sieve. Cool to room temperature, then transfer to the fridge to chill.
  4. Skip the sugar and instead add 1 cup of cranberry juice or pomegranate juice to the rose hip tea after straining.
