Ingredients

  1. 1 cup milk
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 1 cup white sugar
  4. 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. 7 ice cubes
  7. 2 cups vanilla ice cream, or to taste
  8. ¼ cup whipped cream, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, water, sugar, orange juice concentrate, and vanilla extract in a blender. Cover with ice cubes and blend orange mixture on Low, gradually increasing to High, until smooth.
  2. Cover the bottom of a mug with vanilla ice cream. Pour in orange mixture; top with remaining ice cream and whipped cream.
  3. Blend with the Milkshake setting if your blender has it.

Nice tangy, sweet flavor, but I cut the sugar back. I scaled to one serving, but only used 1 T sugar instead of 1/4 c as called for. Nice creamy treat on a hot day.
