Ingredients
- 6 (12 ounce) cans pilsner-style beer, or to taste
- 2 quarts prepared lemonade, or to taste
Instructions
- Combine beer and lemonade in a gallon-sized pitcher.
- Pilsner or lager work best for this drink, but feel free to experiment with your favorite. You’ll need 1 to 2 six-packs, depending on your taste.
- I prefer homemade lemonade, or Simply Lemonade for a store-bought brand. You’ll need one or two 1.75-liter bottles, depending on your taste.
Reviews
Love this! Use wheat beer (weisbeer) for a rasser! I asked a bartender to make me one of these when I got home from Germany years ago, and got a seriously dirty look. Now, their all the rage, just called shandy!
This was so refreshing! Really similar to a British Shandy. I used fresh lemonade, as that is what I had. There were no complaints, except when the glass was empty!
