PB & J Smoothie

  5.0 – 3 reviews  • Strawberry

Although I used peanut butter to make this smoothie, powdered peanut butter can be used to make a smoothie with fewer calories.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Total Time: 5 mins
Servings: 1
Yield: 1 smoothie

Ingredients

  1. 6 frozen strawberries, or more to taste
  2. ¾ cup milk
  3. 1 ½ tablespoons peanut butter
  4. 1 tablespoon blue agave nectar, or more to taste
  5. 1 tablespoon flax seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine strawberries, milk, peanut butter, blue agave, and flax seeds in a blender and blend until well combined.
  2. Substitute 2 tablespoons powdered peanut butter mixed with 1 1/2 tablespoons water for the peanut butter, if desired.
  3. Using frozen strawberries eliminates the use of ice. Swap out the strawberries for blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries.
  4. Any dairy or nut milk can be used.
