When I made this coffee, I did brew the coffee in my KEURIG Coffee Brewer, but used a decaffeinated coffee. I also used freshly squeezed orange juice, 2% milk, plus one packet of Saccharin Sweetener, and an 1/8 teaspoon of Saccharin Sweetener. The next time I decide to make this coffee, I’m going to use Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa Powder, cause I really like the dark cocoa powder. I topped the coffee with Extra Creamy Reddi Wip. Which made the coffee taste even better.
I tried this prior to adding the cocoa and I think it tasted better without it. I let it cool down and added ice cubes and it was much better cold than hot.
it was interesting flavor, i would make it a couple more times but its not a favorite.
Well, this did really taste like orange flavored coffee. I just realized this combination of coffee, cocoa, and orange doesn’t work for me. It may have worked if it was a little sweeter or had cream in it, I don’t know. The tartness of the orange juice just made the coffee a little unpalatable to my taste buds. Others may like this though.
I used orange juice concentrate for more orange flavor. Interesting mocha. I don’t think I would use cocoa powder if I made it again, I would use cocoa mix or chocolate syrup.
