I developed this warm milk recipe to help settle my boys down when they were having trouble falling asleep. Years after they first started drinking it, they still take a sip while doing their homework or after they get home from a chilly day of play. After a hard day’s labor, I have also appreciated it. For many years to come, I hope you also enjoy this dish.

This stuff is awesome morning, noon or night. Is great with cinnamon or nutmeg. Our son loves it with ginger for when he has a “yucky” tummy. Thank you, thank you for this great recipe. Have made this many times over.
I made 2 cups of this, the first with nutmeg and the second without. I personally prefer the one without, but that may be because I added to much nutmeg
It was delicious. I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg and added less sugar. Felt sleepy almost immediately.
Made it for my son and I to help my son wind down for the night. I added cinnamon with the nutmeg and I love the taste so does my son. I hope it calms this little ball of energy down soon. Momma wants some her time haha
This helped one of my toddlers that had trouble sleeping, get to sleep! They slept well. So delicious that I found myself making some for myself!!!! lol.
Absolutely LOVE IT it’s perfect for me, not too sweet but not bland.
No sugar, sugar is Evil. Especially if you are using this as a sleep aid. Works great, but loose the sugar!
so delicious. you should definitely try this recipe!! I rate it 5 stars.
Daughter loved the taste of it.
I’m not sure if it’s going to help me get to sleep yet but it’s amazing I’ve never been a fan of warm milk because that’s all we always did was just warm up a glass of milk, but this tastes like you liquified a cinnamon roll (I substituted the nutmeg for cinnamon as I don’t have any nutmeg) and put it in a glass will definitely make this again.
Instead of the sugar, I used 2 tbls of pumpkin pie creamer, and sprinkled cinnamon on top, it was amazing
Loved it! made some minor tweaks and added a pinch on cinnamon. definitely going to make again some time.
Great for a cold day! I was a little hesitant with the nutmeg, but it was good. Maybe a little less next time.
Love the base recipe. I made it for my 12 year old who wanted warm milk. I lowered the sugar to around half of what was called for. Still very tasty and he loves it!
Amazing. Definitely making this again. I used all spice in mine and it taste just like the holidays in a cup. Just perfect.
Way too much nutmeg for my taste, just a little sprinkle would do.
The milk was really good, but if I make it again I will use less sugar.

This seems so simple, but it was so much better than I expected. I was leery of the amount of sugar but it worked perfectly. I heated the milk in a glass measuring cup then poured in a mug when it was hot – that way no super-heated ceramic mug to deal with. I grated nutmeg directly in to it. The combination of flavors is fantastic. A great bedtime drink.
I absolutely LOVED this drink!!! it was delicious in every way. I am not really a nutmeg person, so we made this with cinnamon instead. None of can have dairy either (its an allergy) so we used almond milk original instead. Lastly, we made it on the stove in large amounts. everyone enjoys it very much, thank you for this amazing recipe!!
I used what I think is nutmeg
