Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- 4 fluid ounces pineapple juice
- 1 fluid ounce melon schnapps
- 1 fluid ounce vodka
Instructions
- Place ice, pineapple juice, schnapps, and vodka in a cocktail shaker. Place cap on the shaker, shake, and strain into a cordial or pony glass.

As far as I’ve always known the above recipe bc of the pineapple specifically this is a Pearl Harbor ( cherry garnish) I thought melon ball was either just Midori and Vodka or maybe w oj added but if this a melon ball then tell me what’s in a pearl harbor or….are these 2 drinks w the same name used Interchangeably???? Also love this drink it’s amazing sweet good in summer
It’s “whet your whistle” as in “make your whistle sharper”, not “wet your whistle”. I had this many years ago and liked it; however, my friends and I preferred it made with Midori.
I love melon ball, this has been my go to drink for years. If you like it try a midorie colada.
