I have been making this punch for the last two Christmases and my family really likes it, especially my great nieces. So I just made it this past weekend for my mother’s 80th birthday party. I needed to change the color so I substituted strawberry Jello with Jello’s Island Pineapple flavor. Beautiful color, rave reviews!!! My husband, who drinks nothing but soft drinks normally, liked it as well. I used every bit of the prepared recipe with people asking for more. Great substitution to a great recipe.

I served it at a baby shower this weekend and several people asked me for the recipe!! ( I cut the sugar to 1 3/4 cups of sugar)

Perfect punch recipe! Our guests loved everything about it. I even added in some fruit that I chopped up with my slap chopper- maraschino cherries, crushed pineapple, and mandarin oranges. If you’d like it spiked add in bourbon or rum. Tip: pour cooled mixture in freezer bags as shown but only fill up 1/2 way then freeze them. If you fill them too full it will take a long time to freeze. You could also add the fruit to the bottom of a bundt pan and then pour the mixture over the fruit before freezing to make a beautiful ice ring.

This is now a staple at our holiday events. Have made it at least 6 times. I do cut the sugar to about half.

Made it last Thanksgiving and it was a hit. Made 2 batches, one virgin and one spiked with tequila! A good time was had by one and all!! Some a little more than others.

Wow! Excellent slush punch. The taste is excellent and received rave reviews from my guests. One recommendation. Freeze in smaller quantities. I froze the mixture in 4 Tupperware containers. Set out the frozen slush to thaw a couple of hours before use. I used 1 liter of 7 up and 2 Tupperware containers for the first fill of the punch bowl. This is an excellent punch! Enjoy!

I have made this recipe for years! First off, I follow the recipe by make these modifications. Instead of the lemon juice I add a can of frozen lemonade. I also add strawberries, blueberries, Sliced lemons and oranges (remove peel if you want), only use 1 1/2 c sugar. Use a large ladel to pour into gallon zip lock containers 2 is perfect I double line mine to prevent leaks! Other reviewers said it was completely frozen- it will be! You have to let thaw for around 3 hours before serving! If that still isn’t enough time put in microwave! You want it to be unthawed enough to take a fork/ knife and chop up in punch bowl to create a slush. Then pour your ginger ale, I got a flavored cranberry ginger ale and regular and plan on using both. The recipe is very flexible to your likes, so you can play around with flavors, ingredients, and fruit!

I didn’t make any changes to the recipe. I found it difficult to get the frozen mixture out of the container . I expected it to be a little slushier, and less of a solid block.

Maybe I did it wrong, but the jello became actual jello and just froze solid.

It was a bit sweet but still great!

This was delicious! The whole family loved it. I only made half of what it called for, and even that was a lot. Will definitely make this again!

I have made this recipe many times, and people always love it. However, I’m writing this review to let you all know about another version of it I discovered by accident. The last time I made it, I decided at the last minute (a few hours before the event) to make some extra in case the first batch wasn’t enough. The problem was that I didn’t have strawberry Jello or lemon lime soda on hand. I did, however, have some pineapple Jello and ginger ale, so I used that instead, and it was also VERY yummy. So, my point is that this recipe is totally delicious as written, but experimenting with different flavors can also give you great results.

A total hit! I made it just as the video indicated, placing it in 3 bags after cool down…about 1 hour. I placed 50 ounces in each bag, placed it in a 9×13 pan, and froze it. I added one 2 liter Publix lemon lime soda to the punch bowl. Everyone raved about it. It makes great frozen popsicles too.

Everyone loved this punch at Christmas Eve. I did decrease sugar to 1/2 cup which was plenty. If you want a refreshing, tasty, easy punch this is it.

I make this every Christmas Eve for our family gathering and it’s always a hit! So yummy!!

Made it for Thanksgiving and the entire family loved it. I have an extra batch in the freezer for another time.

This is requested by kids and adults!! It had such a good flavor. I use cherry jello instead of strawberry just because I prefer cherry. I’ve also used cherry-lemonade jello that I found in the summer. Easy to make. I also cut down the sugar by 1/2 cup and it’s still really sweet but good. You won’t be disappointed with this recipe!
