The first batch I followed the recipe. Not sweet enough – Found 5 Cups of water, 1 Cup of sugar, 1 Cup of lemon juice. Stirred together and chilled. That was good. Made 6 gallons for family reunion.

I used Stevia instead of sugar. If your dehydrated then use the sugar and a 1/8 teaspoon of salt. But I am a diabetic so I use a sugar alternative like Stevia.

This was an amazing recipe! I loved it, i did have to add a bit more sugar but it was still amazing!

This was the perfect spring time drink! I did use the suggestion of other reviewers and made a simple syrup, but that I believed made the process so must faster. Thank you for this submission. ????

Amazing!! Just make sure to stir the sugar into the lemon/water mixture well, or make it into a syrup. Overall great recipe, highly recommended!

I have searched my whole adult life for the perfect lemonade and I figured it out! I did the sugar in hot water and used Primo filtered water and it is perfect!

This wasn’t quite tart enough for me, so I used 5 lemons instead of 4. I also substituted agave nectar and sparkling water. I added 5 basil leaves and made it “adult” with the addition of 7 oz. quality vodka. It was so good! Perfect for summer!

I followed another reviewer’s advice and doubled the water and sugar. Once it chilled for an hour or two, I tasted it and it was pretty underwhelming, so I added the juice of another lemon. Much better! I like it tangy. I’ll be making this much more often now that it’s warmer!

Absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of tartness to sweetness, and oh so refreshing!

It was good but my only problem was if we used 4 lemons it would of been to Sour but my kids loved it.
Laura Monroe

I made with the juice of five lemons and it was still weak. Needs more lemons. Maybe say how many ounces of lemon juice instead of number of lemons would be better.

I really like this. The 4 lemons usually come out to a cup worth of lemon juice. I went with the simple syrup suggestion below and it worked great

If you like chili with a kick to it, follow the recipe as told. If not cut the chili powder in half and use just one jalapeño. Also extremely easy to use ground beef. I used about 2 pounds of ground beef and turned out great.
