This tuber’s starchy sweetness, which makes it such a well-liked festive side dish, but also cause palate fatigue. It is said that your greatest strength is also your greatest weakness. This is the reason I’ve added bacon, lime, jalapenos, green onions, and strong Cheddar to these twice-baked sweet potatoes to make them more addicting than they’ve ever been at Thanksgiving. They can be prepared in advance and baked right before serving.
