This is a wonderful, fast keto-friendly dish. If desired, serve with pasta.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 10 mins
Servings: 10
Yield: 5 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups skim milk powder
  2. 2 cups powdered non-dairy creamer
  3. 1 cup white sugar
  4. ½ teaspoon imitation butter flavoring
  5. 1 ounce white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Mix milk powder and creamer together in a large bowl.
  2. Mix sugar and butter flavoring together in a small bowl until fully incorporated. Mix into milk powder mixture vigorously using hands to decrease lumps.
  3. Shred white chocolate using a small microplane or small shred side of a box grater; add to mixture. Stir lightly using a spoon to incorporate without melting chocolate.
  4. To use, add 1/2 cup mix to 6 ounces hot water.
  5. This is also tasty if you add a bit of crushed peppermint on top, and it’s great to give as a gift with colored marshmallows and the mix in a jar.

OMG! This is so good! I used a different flavoring and tried it. My husband is currently making another batch! I’m saving this recipe to my book!

I also make this with my coffee instead of water for a nice treat.

This is a perfect make ahead mix to add to hot water. I love having a batch on hand to make a cup whenever I want rather than having to stand at the stove warming the milk and melting the white chocolate. Next time I will also add a little vanilla extract. This would be great with crushed peppermint!

I accidentally grabbed the wrong type of creamer so since I had had vanilla creamer I omitted the butter extract. It was sweet but my kids liked it, It was good with some crushed peppermint sticks and it would be great for some unicorn hot chocolate.
