Ingredients
- 4 cups boiling water
- 4 cups white sugar
- 2 cups vodka
- ⅔ cup instant coffee powder
- 3 tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Stir water, sugar, vodka, coffee, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl or pitcher until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool.

I replaced half of the white sugar with brown for a richer mouthfeel and had some 70% vodka onhand so used that. It’s a win.

This is easier than some recipes that require aging before use. I needed coffee liquor for iced coffee. It was delicious mixed with cream and coffee.

Made this for an 80 yr old great-aunt for Christmas, she called the end of January for a refill because she had ‘sucked it all up’. For those who cannot have caffeine in the evening; use decaf instant coffee, you cannot taste the difference.
