Ingredients

  1. 2 cups fresh spinach leaves, or to taste
  2. 1 cup water, or as needed
  3. 1 medium apple, cored and chopped
  4. 1 medium pear, cored and chopped
  5. 1 small lemon, juiced
  6. 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
  7. ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine spinach, 1 cup water, apple, pear, lemon juice, flaxseed, and ginger in a blender. Puree until smooth, adding more water if needed.
  2. Add fresh fruit, cucumbers, slivered almonds, coconut, fresh herbs, or different dark leafy greens for tasty variations on this recipe.
