Fog Cutter

These meatballs with ricotta are incredibly soft, savory, and wonderful. Almost no components are present. For a filling supper, toss them over some pasta.

Ingredients

  1. crushed ice
  2. 2 fluid ounces orange juice
  3. 1 ½ fluid ounces white rum
  4. 1 fluid ounce lemon juice
  5. ½ fluid ounce gin
  6. ½ fluid ounce brandy
  7. ½ fluid ounce dry sherry
  8. ½ fluid ounce orgeat (almond) syrup
  9. 1 orange slice
  10. 1 maraschino cherry
  11. 1 fresh mint leaf
  12. 1 toothpick

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add orange juice, rum, lemon juice, gin, brandy, sherry, and orgeat. Cover and shake until well blended. Strain into a tiki glass filled with crushed ice.
  2. Skewer orange slice, maraschino cherry, and mint on a toothpick to garnish the drink.
