Reviews
I love Dole Whip and this recipe is very close. I used half and half instead of heavy cream and I added a half teaspoon of vanilla to imitate the vanilla soft-serve ice cream which is usually mixed with the basic pineapple blend. Thank you for working out this recipe. Dole Whip is one of my favorite treats.
I used one can of pineapple as another review recommended and added 1 tsp of vanilla. I used a hand blender to avoid using a blender and utilized a glass quart jar to mix everything up and freeze and it fit perfectly.
This recipe was OK because you could taste to much pineapple pulp and didn’t taste sweet enough or creamy.
