At a Christmas gathering, I served this vodka cranberry martini recipe, and everyone enjoyed it. The cranberry juice and alcohol combine well. It’s a flawlessly smooth beverage.

This is a nice holiday drink. To go the extra mile and make it look like the photo: put a small puddle of juice in one saucer, and some red dyed sugar in another. Dip the rim of the glass in the first saucer to wet it. Then the second to get the sugar to stick. It looks nice. Also put different quantities of cranberries in the glasses. It helps people figure out which one is theirs if a bunch are sitting on a table.
Ed, this is great I altered it a bit based on my ingredients on hand. Cranberry Sauced Martini 2 Jigger Tito’s Vodka 1 Jigger Grand Marnier 1 Jigger Martini & Rossi 2 Jigger Whole Cranberry Sauce Shake in a Shaker for 50 seconds with ice. Adorn with the cranberries from the Shaker. 1 serving
I froze my cranberries to keep the drink cold – wonderful holiday drink – I will make NYE – Happy 2021 everyone.
Loved this martini! Easy to make and drink!
Oh my God, this was soooo good!!!! It will definitely be a staple!
Excellent!
Oh, boy is this good but could be dangerous, as it goes down so smoothly. I made two versions, one as written and again with gin. We preferred the gin version, as that is what we make our martinis with. That said, for those of you who don’t usually drink martinis, te vodka version was “smoother”.
I am a non drinker- so I took a chance & served this at my Thanksgiving dinner & based on results the crew loved them! Many of them asked for the recipe & shared what a nice smooth drink it was! Served in crystal martini glasses with cranberries made a nice touch! As mentioned in previous comments I was told it’d be too easy to have too many of these Cranberry Martini delights!
No changes, delicious holiday cocktail
This recipe was great just as it was! Everybody wanted seconds so that’s a good endorsement!
The dry vermouth overpowered the other flavors. I added a splash more orange liqueur and about an ounce more cranberry juice to make it drinkable. We won’t be making these again. Thanks for the recipe though. It’s always fun to try new recipes, and everyone has their own tastes.
Delicious and refreshing. I always make on Valentine’s Day, patriotic holidays and of course, all of the end of year holidays. Very festive! Secret is to shake well and if possible chill your glasses before hand. Enjoy responsibly!
The big question is whether it was real straight cranberry juice in the recipe or cranberry/other juice cocktail. Big difference.
It is really good but you must add to it if you want it to be Very cranberry Flavored. I like it
Excellent!
made it as stated Delicious!! Tweeked ingredients after 2-3 yum
I made this for a party and it was a great hit. Everyone loved them. I bought extra dry vermouth (that’s all they had) so I went a little lighter on it so the drink wouldn’t be so tart.
Doubled the Cranberry per other recommendations. This was fabulous.
Might be better without the vermouth. The wine was overpowering.
My wife Loves it! This is a Great Drink! Definitely works best using Grey Goose, Cointreau and good dry Vermouth! Don’t Skimp! Use the good stuff!!
This is the best Cranberry Martini, best Martini we ever had.
