An enjoyable project to do with your children or grandchildren is to decorate little turkey brownies for Thanksgiving. Ideal for your Thanksgiving dessert table, this dish is kid-friendly.

Ingredients

  1. 8 ounces apple cider
  2. 1 (2 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  3. 1 (2 g) bag green tea

Instructions

  1. Combine apple cider and ginger in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Place tea bag in a mug. Pour boiling cider into the mug, straining out the ginger slices. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove tea bag.
  3. You can use 1/2 apple cider and half water, if desired to modify sweetness.

1.26.21 This really hit the spot with a piece of coffee cake on a very foggy Florida morning. It’s warming, packed with flavor, but although it’s very good, it’s on the sweet side for us. I most certainly will make this again, but I’ll replace some of the apple cider with water. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
