Ingredients
- 1 ½ fluid ounces amaretto liqueur
- 2 fluid ounces orange juice
- 2 fluid ounces sweet and sour mix
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice. Pour in amaretto, orange juice, and sweet and sour mix. Stir together and serve.

Bartender of 32 years here. I’m only giving this 4 stars because it IS a tasty beverage. However, this recipe is for an Amaretto Stone Sour…a drink that’s been around for longer than I’ve been behind a bar.
Used equal parts since I like mine a little stronger.
This is delicious, but where I come from, this is called an amaretto stone sour. An amaretto sour has no oj. Both ways are yummy!

Amaretto Sour is my favorite alcoholic beverage. This recipe make a very tasty drink.
My favorite drink; I just use make everything measure up to 2 ounces each, and add marachino cherries to the bottom of the glass; which soak up the flavors :o)
Yummy! It’s difficult to find sour mix where I live, so I used lemon lime soda instead and it was great.
So refreshing! I used to make Amaretto Sours from a recipe out of a bartenders guide that didn’t include the O.J. but this version is much better and I’ll be using it from now on. Thanks!
