Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Looking for a cool salsa to eat on a hot summer night? This is the one we prefer. Add tortilla chips to the dish. This tastes amazing when put on white fish. Instead of fresh jalapenos, I frequently use canned ones.

Wow! What a hit! I made it exactly as written with the exception of adding just a bit of Tajin and Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning. I made it a day early but added the avocado the day of because I was scared it would brown. Again, wow!

This was the first time I made salsa ever and the first time with mango salsa but mango salsa is my favorite. I also got to use a tomato that my husband grew in our garden. So delicious. Definitely will make this again and used this with the dinner I made, fish burritos.

I served with shrimp coated in mild chili powder and sauteed. Having slightly less ripe avocado is good advice. Same goes for the mango.

The best I’ve ever made and possibly the best I’ve ever had.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! I served it with Tilapia and rice (made with chicken stock) and my picky family LOVED it! BTW… not everyone likes cilantro so I made it without and It was delicious. It was amazing with chips too. I could think of 100 ways to serve this. MAKE THIS RECIPE and make a double batch…trust me, none will go to waste!!! Hint–because I hate chopping tomatoes, I bought a can of petit diced tomatoes. I drained and reserved the liquid and added 1 cup chicken stock, 1/2 cup wine, a heaping tablespoon of minced garlic, 1/2 tsp salt, and I used it to steam a two lb bag of mussels, and served with the meal. The whole meal was heavenly and the salsa was the hero!

I’ve made mango salsa’s in the past. But this one was the best! Soft mango, tomato from my garden, and the olive oil and garlic gave it a nice flavor. I will definitely make this one again!

This was by far the most DELICIOUS salsa I have ever had. It tasted so fresh and tangy, I feel like making another batch right now! I did change up the recipe a little, like not adding garlic or too much olive oil, but it still tasted amazing. Served this with spanish rice and later ate with tortilla chips–definitely a must make.

This was good because I had use these items before they went bad. I didn’t have a red onion so used a quarter of white. I added an extra avocado which kinda over powered the mango. But this is a refreshing salsa. Will make it again

oh my.. this is SO GOOD! I love the flavor of the olive oil with all of the other flavors! I made this today for the second time and both times I doubled the batch, but only used one heaping tsp of salt. Also added extra jalapenos to taste. One of my mangoes was a bit under ripe, but it turned out perfect because it gave a little “crunch” to the salsa. Delicious! Thank you!

This is very good, I used it as a topping over fresh Cod over rice. I did use a little bit of a spicy rub on the fish so the spicy/sweet combo was perfect. I will be making this again very soon.

Really good salsa. Made with purple tomatoes for more of a purple and gold for tailgating. Very tasty. I did drain the tomatoes and think that helped. Next time will add more jalapeno.

I looking for something to top off fish tacos with. This receipe was quick, easy, and inexpensive. Only took a few minutes of prep, and left it to chill while I grilled the fish. I used just a tad more lime juice than the recipe called for, but that was more for the fish. It was truly refrshing, and perfect for the hot summer evening!

I made this based off all the great reviews it received. I needed to make a salsa for a contest at work. I won third place! Although a lot of people thought it was a guacamole because the avocado I got was very ripe and when trying to dice it, and gently mix the ingredients together, it got mashed up a bit and wasn’t as solid as it shows in the picture. People still loved it though!

It was very easy and the taste was amazing
