Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
Instructions
- Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt and chives to a bowl. Mix together, and then cover and chill until ready to serve.

I personally did not like this dip. After I made it as directed I had to doctor it for a flavor that better suited me. For me I would omit the mayo and mustard bc I did not like the tang they gave the dip and just use sour cream or yogurt. It did not have much of an onion flavor for me. If you have to change a recipe too much, it is no longer that recipe. To each his own. Thanks Ree for so many inspiring recipes, even the ones that aren’t for me. Everyone has different tastes.

This is so incredibly easy! Why even buy store bought? I omitted the mayonnaise and just used sour cream. Delicious!

This was perfect as is, and also perfect with a dash of Worcestershire and Lawry’s.
The first time I made this it was as written. The second time, I used small curd cottage cheese and added some fresh basil. I doubled it so I used my food processor. It made a tasty “no guilt” dip!
