Outstanding side dish for almost anything. It’s quick and simple, and you can adjust or add seasonings if you’d like, but it’s actually rather tasty as is.

This recipe is WAY too sweet for my taste. Even after cutting back on what was called for I couldn’t eat it. I threw out everything but the peaches. What a way to waste some luscious fruit – and vanilla ice cream!
Terrific!! It was SO easy, and tastes great!!! I made a double batch and froze 1 but haven’t eaten the frozen one yet. Hope it thaws and reheats well.
Excellent! My husband really enjoyed this. I made it with fresh peaches and didn’t change a thing.
I never saw a dessert disappear so fast. I did what others said and cut the sugar way back. The cinnamon really made it sweet all on its own.
Taking others advice, I doubled the recipe to fit a 9×13 pan, cut the sugar to 1 cup white, added 1/4 cup dark brown, 1 cup butter, 1 tbs cinnamon, used 1 loaf of bread with the crust, about 5 slices diced on the bottom, and the rest diced into small (1/2 inch) pieces for the top and poured the liquid part over the the bread. I’ve had to cook it for up to 90 minutes to get the nice brown look. Everyone that’s had it LOVES it.
love this recipe I used canned apricots and it worked out so good!
Made this, added a little cinnamon and nutmeg, but came out watery. Maybe add baking powder? The taste, though, was superb.
It was simple to make but didn’t taste very good to me. It was weird to cook and didn’t hold together in any sense of the word. It felt like I was just eating chunks of peaches and chunks of sugary dough. I won’t make this again.
My 7, 5 and 2 yr old helped make this yummy recipe. We followed the recipe and it came out delicious. The bread tasted like sugar cookies with a nice crunch on top.
I had some fresh nectarines and wanted to make a cobbler so I pulled out 4 different recipes, after looking at this one I went with it. OMG!!! This was without a doubt the easiest dessert I’ve ever made and it was so delicious!! At the bottom of the page said I had printed it out in 2018, so sorry I waited so long to make this. It’s the perfect, most delicious, fast dessert ever.
I love this recipe! I did not cut the crusts off, and it turned out perfect! I also added a bit of cinnamon to the butter/sugar/flour mixture, as well as some on top. My family loves it!
I have made this many times. Very easy. I leave the crusts o and add a tsp of cinnamon to the sugar mixture.
Delicious! I was surprised that something so basic and simple could taste so good. I used canned peaches (in juice) drained and 1/2 cup each of white and brown sugar and sprinkled cinnamon on top. Lovely.
Very very sweet. I will definitely make this again, but only use 1 cup sugar instead of 1.5.
This recipe is good and easy. I did add a sprinkle of cinnamon and ginger and only used 1 cup of sugar. It received rave reviews at the potluck and requests for the recipe.
Love this, used fresh peaches and followed directions exactly, doubling because I had so many ripe peaches!
This is delicious. I used wheat bread because that’s what I had. I also used monk fruit sugar instead of white sugar. I will be making this again.
I made this but combined other ingredients it turned out perfect and delicious !
Amazing! Didn’t change anything, but the bread! I used the inside of the loaf of French bread! Took 1 1/2 loaves! It couldn’t have turned out any better! The family loved it! Thanks for recipe!
I used cinnamon raisin bread, reduced sugar to 1 cup, added 1 tsp. vanilla, sprinkled grated nutmeg on top. Cut out in pieces from pan to serve. Top with whipped cream or ice cream. Delightful.
Yummy!!! Used 1 cup of sugar instead of what recipe calls for…very tasty! My husband and I both give it 5 stars for ease in making and taste!
